Welcome to Alloggia – your platform for temporary housing and short-term accommodation solutions in Germany. The platform is frequently used by companies, insurance companies, and institutions to provide short-term housing, while the actual residents are usually private individuals, families, or employees.
Our focus is on brokering furnished apartments, business apartments, and temporary accommodation for medium- and long-term stays – for example, during renovations, project work, relocations, or medical stays.
All accommodations offered are self-contained units with their own kitchen or kitchenette and private bathroom, making them ideal for a temporary base of operations.
Company History
Since our founding in 2007 with our own properties in Essen and Bad Oeynhausen (Germany), we have been deeply involved in the market for temporary living and corporate housing.
Starting with classic holiday rentals, we have continuously expanded our services and specialized in the mediation of replacement apartments, employee housing and business apartments.
Today, we cooperate with numerous landlords across all major metropolitan regions in Germany and support both organizations and private individuals in finding suitable temporary housing solutions.

Alexander Klein
Alexander Klein is the founder and managing partner of Alloggia.de, a booking portal for temporary accommodation in Germany.
He has a solid business background as a wholesale and export merchant, holds a degree in business administration, and is a certified accountant (Chamber of Industry and Commerce). His many years of professional experience in controlling and accounting shape his analytical and practical view of the housing market.
Since founding Alloggia in 2012, he has continuously developed the platform – with a clear focus on visibility, occupancy rates, and economically successful rentals.
Claudia Schüngel
Claudia Schüngel is our expert when it comes to finding the right accommodation for every guest. Her love of communicating with other people makes her a sensitive host.
Before starting her own business with her own holiday apartments in Essen, she studied agricultural sciences in Gießen and worked for several years as a sales manager in a wholesaler for tea products. Her strong background in sales and passion for hospitality are the keys to our outstanding customer service.
