As the operator of an online marketplace for vacation rentals and temporary living, an important task is to create trust.

We have taken a number of measures to meet this challenge:

Verification of the identity of guests and landlords
The identity of all landlords on our booking portal has been checked. In most cases we know our landlords personally or have regular telephone contact. New landlords have to overcome a few hurdles before their ads can be activated on our online marketplace. A spontaneous placement of unchecked apartment advertisements is therefore not possible on our online portal.

Every guest should be allowed to feel comfortable in our apartments. That is why we have separated from numerous landlords in the past few years because of various poor performance. Unfortunately, however, it does happen in individual cases that some landlords do not fulfill their obligations adequately. In order to prevent further breaches of contract by our landlords, we would like to point out the following again:

The guest has the right to be provided the holiday apartment for the contractual use, i.e. the apartment must be clean, have the agreed equipment and size and the furnishings must be complete and usable.

In addition, every guest can be confident that the vacation rentals on offer comply with our quality guidelines.

For accommodation contracts (guest accommodation contracts) the tenancy law §§ 535 ff. BGB applies, provided the landlord is not a tour operator (travel law).

You cannot find a suitable apartment on our booking portal or the desired apartment is already occupied? This is not a problem. Simply send us a free search request and let us know your requirements. The search request is immediately forwarded to our landlord network in the city concerned and can be processed there without delay. After feedback or consultation with our landlords on site, we will create an individual offer that we would be happy to send you by email. If there is still no apartment available, we will look for accommodation in other marketplaces that meet your individual requirements. As it often takes some time to process individual search requests, please be patient. However, processing usually does not take longer than 1-2 days.

After your binding booking, you will receive a written booking confirmation from us by email, which is attached. For longer booking periods of two months or more, you will receive a written accommodation contract accordingly. Please print out this important document or save it on your smartphone.

Please carefully check all the information in the booking confirmation. If we make a mistake, please let us know as soon as possible. We will then issue you with a new booking confirmation.

If you have further doubts about the desired rental property or the landlord, you should make a phone call with us. So you can clarify details and uncover contradictions.

In addition to information about your trip and the booked apartment, you will also find important information about the terms of payment. Our landlords usually require a 20% deposit. If the booking is made within 30 days of the start of the trip, the entire rental amount is due immediately. In addition, many landlords require a security deposit.

The accommodation contract comes about through two concurrent declarations of intent. Ultimately, it is legally irrelevant whether the accommodation contract is concluded by letter, fax or email. An accommodation contract can also be concluded through reciprocal emails.

In comparison to the rental contract (see § 535 BGB), the accommodation contract is due to an accommodation, i.e. not only is space use granted, but additional services are owed, such as: For example, the final cleaning, change of bed linen and towels. So it is a mixed contract with elements of the rental, service and work contract.
